In-person 30-Hour classroom Course

This course is for students who are 14 ½ years or older.  This course is state certified and meets the requirements for students to get their license at age 16. 

The in person 30 hour course is conducted in our classroom at 32 N Selig in Montrose CO. Students will learn about vehicle safety. Rules and regulations of the road are covered. Students will be made aware of how to use their eyes effectively and how to manage space and time for defensive driving.  Vehicle controls and how to properly operate the vehicle controls safely is included.  Students will be exposed to how to safely share the road with other roadway users. 

A free permit test is offered to all classroom students that are with in a month of their 15th birthday at the end of class.

Students that are not old enough at the time of class completion can call the office within a month of their 15th birthday to schedule an appointment to permit test with the driving school, or 

they can follow this link to take the permit test at home through the DMV website. 

 THE STATE OF COLORADO REQUIRES ALL STUDENTS TO APPLY FOR A PREREGISTRATION CODE AT mydmv.colorado.gov IN ORDER TO ENROLE IN THE CLASSROOM COURSE AND FOR US TO ISSUE YOUR STUDENTS CLASS AFFIDAVIT. YOU WILL NEED THE CODE TO RESERVE A SEAT IN THE CLASS 

A $100.00 must be received as a non refundable deposit to reserve a seat in class. The remaining balance for the class and behind the wheel instruction is due on the first day of class to receive the package discount.
