Montrose Drivers Education School is BOST certified by the State of Colorado meaning we are certified to give both the Colorado Written Permit Test and the Colorado State Road Test.  

We do not offer self-scheduling online so please call 970-249-8891 for an appointment. Due to high call volume, we are unable to monitor or return voicemail messages. If you don't reach us right away, we are likely assisting another driver.

Testing is available 7 days a week from sunrise to sunset by appointment only.

A small convenience fee of $10 applies to Saturday appointments and evenings after 6:00 p.m. and $15 applies to Sundays to help us keep you rolling 7 days a week. 

State of Colorado Road Test General Public Fee:  $60.00     

      Retest Fee: $40.00

State of Colorado Road Test BTW Student Fee:  $30.00  

      Retest 1 Fee: no charge

      Retest 2+ Fee: $30.00

1-Hour Private Lesson + State of Colorado Road Test Fee:  $150.00

Written Learner's Permit Test General Public Fee:  $50.00

     No charge for students who took a class with us.

Vehicle Rental:  $20.00* (no charge for BTW students)

      *If you are required to have an interlock, you cannot rent.
