⚠️COLORADO'S UPDATED DRIVER EDUCATION LAW TAKES EFFECT 01/01/27⚠️
⚠️Colorado's updated driver education law, HB24-1021, takes effect on January 1, 2027. It mandates that all new teen drivers ages 15 through 17 complete a full 30-hour state-approved driver education course before getting an instruction permit. Classroom or online instruction is accepted.

Dates for the upcoming 30-hour in-person class:
October 17-19 & 24-25 (7 SEATS OPEN)
8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
December 28-31 (7 SEATS OPEN)
4-day session
8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
This course includes the permit test at the end of class if eligible.

⚠️The 30-hour Drive Education Program will expire if not used to obtain an instruction permit within six (6) months from completion per state statute.
⚠️Colorado's updated driver education law, HB24-1021, takes effect on January 1, 2027. It mandates that all new drivers ages 18 through 20 complete a 4-hour state-approved minor driver awareness program before getting an instruction permit. This course will no longer be available to students under 18 when the new law goes into effect. Online instruction is not available.
